I think you misunderstood me. I merely said that I didn't understand 'Anti-Semitism' amongst the older population (because of our experiences), not that older people are anti-Semitic.

I have listened to what happened yesterday at the football match. An absolute disgrace NOBODY should have stopped from supporting their team…. The government needs to get a grip on the rampant antisemitism before civil disobedience kicks in. Favouring one group ie Islam over another is insane. But our pm is preening at cop 30.
In today's noisy world, being a contrarian or an outlier is a seductive position to take.
Instead of genuinely seeking out truth and having the courage to share it (a genuinely contrarian position in today's world) it seems more attractive to play these games of corruption and revisionism in an attempt to be different, edgy, controversial.
'Narcilism' is a brilliant observation.
If these people wanted to be effective they would take a reasonable line, be open to discussion and to changing their opinion.
Instead they settle on the most controversial views and observations, regardless of whether there is any truth to it. Controversy generates traffic. The algorithms seek out and amplify the 'worst' views. People are bored and don't like to think for themselves. Simple falsehoods and the dopamine hit of extreme positions.
Why aren't more people interested in joining the few brave, contrarian, sincere, open, transparent voices out there? What can we do to reward truth?
This platform encourages thought (cogent, well written articles) and rewards truth (subscribers).
It's a step on the path to freedom which is why I like it so much.
Now if we can just encourage a few % of people to come back from the fringes you mention and begin to appear on the radar of the 80% who still trust / read / watch the MSM....we'll be making some progress!
